It's a final, Lehigh 37-13.

The outcome has been decided and the stands on the Lafayette side have really cleared out, but the Leopards have added a second TD, a one-yardrun by Alan Elder. It's now 37-13 with 3:28 remaining.

A 50-yard pass play from Lum to Spadola put Lehigh in business and Lum took the final four yards for another Lehigh touchdown. :

2:49 p.m.

Lehigh linebacker Colin Newton was ejected from the game for his dive into the end zone on his touchdown return. It was Newton's second personal foul infraction of the game, prompting the ejection. No word on whether or not he would be forced to sit out the next Lehigh game. It's Lehigh 30-0 with Lafayette on a drive and just under 10 minutes left.

2:46 p.m.

Fred Mihal forced a fumble after a pass reception and Colin Newton ran it 46 yards for a touchdown that really, truly put this one away for Lehigh. It's amazingly 30-0 Mountain Hawks. Reminding me of last year's Colgate game.

2:37 p.m.

A 16-yard TD run by Matt Fitz caps the first drive of the second half for Lehigh and the Mountain Hawks now lead it 24-0 than three minutes into the second half.

2:09 p.m.

Lafayette's 41-yard field goal attempt is wide left and it's going to be 17-0 Mountain Hawks at halftime. Tremendous performance by Lehigh's defense.

2:04 p.m.

Shanked punt by Lehigh gives Lafayette a great chance to get on the board before halftime. Leopards get ball at 31 and have moved to the 21. Less than a minute left in a lengthy first half.

2 p.m.

All of Lafayette's offense coming off Lehigh penalties. No matter. Lehigh defense has been spectacular. Mountain Hawks have ball at own 20 with 1:36 left in the half, leading 17-0.

1:51 p.m

Lehigh has taken control. Zach Hayden grabs a 3-yard touchdown pass from Chris Lum to cap a 7-play, 56-yard drive that took 3:27. Lum and Hayden connected on back-to-back plays, covering 17 yards. Lehigh is now up 17-0.

Lafayette just benefitted from a late hit penalty on Lehigh, and the ball is at the Lehigh 44. Leopards go for it on fourth down, but pass fails. Lehigh ball.

1:39 p.m.

Lehigh convered the good field position into three points. Tim Divers just kicked a 30-yard field goal and the Mountain Hawks now lead Lafayette 10-0 with 9:13 left in the half. That's a 6-play, 28-yard drive.

1:31 p.m.

Lehigh gets the ball at the Lafayette 40 with 10:33 to go in the half. This game has been all about the Lehigh defense to this point.

1:25 p.m.

A controversial defensive holding call on Lehigh earned a key first down for Lafayette. Had the play been ruled in complete, the Leopards would have had to punt from their one-foot line.

1:13 p.m.

First quarter is over here at Goodman Stadium and Lehigh leads it 7-0. Defense doing a superb job for the Mountain Hawks, who have the ball at the Lafayette 47 as the second quarter starts.

1:05 p.m.

Keith Sherman broke through the right side for a 52-yard touchdown and Lehigh has taken the lead here at Goodman Stadium 7-0 with 1:55 left in the first quarter. 6 plays, 74 yards, 2:52 on the TD drive. That was the longest run of the Lehigh season.

1:01 p.m.

Lehigh has the ball back at its on 26, looking to get something going. So, defenses have definitely dominated.

12:53 p.m.

A good Lafayette punt pinned Lehigh at its own 2 and the Mountain Hawks went three-and-out. Lehigh will punt with the Leopards set to get great field position for their third possession.

12:50 p.m.

Lafayette is on the move with its second possession. The first Leopards possession ended in an interception. Lehigh, however, did nothing with the turnover.

12:15 p.m.

Lots of empty seats here, just 20 minutes before kickoff. But there will be a mass rush into the bleachers from the tailgates starting soon.
