Lehigh gets another offensive player of the week award, but it's not Chris Lum this time

FROM KEITH GROLLER

Another week and another Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week award for a Lehigh player.

But it's not quarterback Chris Lum (No.12 in the photo), who won the award five times in the team's first seven games,
This time it's junior Zach Barket (No. 34 in the photo) who had a career day at Colgate in a 45-25 win on Saturday.

The junior from Schuylkill Haven finished with 188 yards and two rushing touchdowns. He also snared a pair of passes for scores to become the first Lehigh player to score four touchdowns in a game since Pius X grad Eric Rath had four against Colgate in 2005.

It was also the second highest single-game total for a Lehigh player since 2001.

Despite the win over Colgate, Lehigh dropped one spot in each of the two major FCS polls, falling from No. 7 to No. 8 in The Sports Network/Fathead.com poll and sliding from No. 6 to No. 7 in the FCS Coaches Poll.

But Lehigh is now tied with Maine for the No. 1 spot in the latest ECAC/Meadowlands Lambert Cup poll for Eastern FCS programs.
