Nazareth mayor reports 32 crimes were investigated in July

Nazareth Mayor Fred Daugherty reported Monday 32 crimes have been investigated by the borough's police department from July 1 to July 31.

The incidents included 13 criminal arrests, 12 follow-up investigations and 13 hours logged by officers in court.

At the top of the crime list were 10 acts of vandalism, nine disorderly conduct offenses and seven thefts. About nine traffic tickets were issued and four warnings.

Fines in June totaled $12,194 compared with $6,905 in July, according to borough documents.
