Palmerton, Northwestern could both have boys basketball coaches on Tuesday

FROM KEITH GROLLER

I am told that Palmerton is again set to vote on a recommended choice for its vacant boys basketball position and I have a good feeling it's going to be former Marian Catholic coach Mick Stefanek.

If so, I think Palmerton will have made a solid choice because Stefanek has a proven record and teaches in the Palmerton district. It should be a good fit.

But with Palmerton nothing is a done deal until it's finally done.

I am also told that Northwestern Lehigh has completed interviews for its vacant boys hoops position. B.J. Duggan resigned the post after a 1-21 season last year.

The Tigers could also be making an announcement within the next day or two.
