Easton at Nazareth baseball game pushed back to May 13

The long-awaited Easton at Nazareth baseball game, scheduled for today, was postponed until 4 p.m. May 13 at Nazareth Borough Park.

The game will feature star catcher Justin Pacchioli, who transferred from Easton Area High School to Nazareth Area High School this winter.

Nazareth Athletic Director Rusty Amato said he was notified by his maintenance crew that the Borough Park field was underwater and would be unplayable today. Greg Hess, Easton's assistant athletic director and assistant baseball coach, said it is by far the worst season he can remember as far as rainouts are concerned.

Pacchioli has helped Nazareth stay unbeaten through its first 13 games.
