Singing Canaries are now fifth in the state poll

I know that it doesn't matter. Once the ball goes up in the air when the state tournament begins this weekend, it won't mean a thing.

But here are the final pre-PIAA tournament state rankings and you'll note that Allen is No. 5 among the 4A schools. The Canaries are the only D-11 school listed in any of the Top 10s.

BTW, I have been sent a photo of Allen singing "Happy Birthday'' on Saturday Night. Once I get it in a form that I can put on the blog, I will post it.
