Lehigh University men's basketball team uses late run to beat Navy

The Lehigh University men's basketball team went on a 15-2 run over the final 3:25 to rally and beat Navy 71-63 at Stabler Arena tonight.

Sophomore guard C.J. McCollum scored 18 of his game-high 23 points in the first half, while also snagging 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season.

Sophomore center Gabe Knutson also registered a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Mountain Hawks (10-7), who picked up their first Patriot League win.

The Midshipmen (5-13, 0-2) were led by junior guard Jordan Sugars' 16, while freshman forward J.J. Avila added 13 points and 12 rebounds.

McCollum, last season's league player of the year, is now six points shy of 1,000 for his career.

Lehigh hosts Army on Saturday.
