A brief ceremony and a dollar-dog party will highlight the wrecking of the Spectrum, which will be Tuesday, Nov. 23, at noon.
The Spectrum, previous home to the Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers, officially closed on Oct. 31, 2009, with the fourth concert in five nights from Pearl Jam.
Flyers legends Bob Clarke and Bernie Parent, 76ers icon Julius Erving and Comcast-Spectacor chairman Ed Snider will speak during the pre-demolition ceremony.
A block party, including hot dogs and drinks, will be in the H-lot of the South Philly sports complex.

Philly Live, a retail, restaurant and entertainment district, will be build once demolition of the Spectrum is complete.
