CBS and Channel 3 in Philadelhis is hoping Ryan Howard hits a ratings home run Thursday night.
The Phillies slugging first baseman will present the Top Ten List on the Late Show with David Letterman. The show airs at 11:35 p.m. on CBS stations.
Howard, whose Phillies are trying to return to the World Series for the third straight year, will join Letterman via satellite from Citizens Bank Park after Thursday's workout.
Thursday's Late Show guests are musician Sean "Diddy" Combs and actress Emma Stone.
