David Howard author of the book Lost Rights will hold a book signing and discussion in the Fraunfelder Reading Room of the Memorial Library of Nazareth & Vicinity on Tuesday October 5, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. The Library is located at 295 East Center St. Nazareth, Pa 18064. No Reservations are needed.
Lost Rights is a captivating true tale of an original copy of the Bill of Rights that was stolen, lost, found and scammed on the popular PBS Antiques Road show program.
Mr. Howard will recount the story behind the 2003 FBI sting that recovered North Carolina’s missing copy of the Bill of Rights. Hear how two friends became bitter enemies while trying to pull off a scam to sell a piece of paper missing for 138 years.
