State Tournament, A Historical Context

FROM THE PA LEGION BASEBALL WEBSITE

Summing it up, Region 2 has been more than dominant, claiming 26 of the last 35 titles. Region 3 is a distant second, taking 4. Region 4 has won one, as has region 7. Region 6 has three total titles, while Regions 5 and 8 have never won one.

Boyertown has 20 of the 26 for Region 2

Yardley-Western has two of the three for Region 3

Hanover won it in 1999 for Region 4

Shaler won it for Region 6 twice, with Beaver Falls winning it in 2003

State College took home Region 7's crown in 2001
