List of Summer Boys Basketball Tournament Champions

From Keith Groller

Some people were challenging me on whether Allen had ever won a summer basketball tournament title before Sunday night. The truth is, they had, but it was not the Stellar title. It was the first Progressive Realty tournament back in 1990.

We've had three different high school boys summer tournaments around here over the past 20 years.

You had the Progressive Realty tournament from 1990-98.

The Stellar Construction tournament began in 1996 and there were three years of overlap with Progressive.

And now we have the SportsFest boys basketball tournament, which will begin its third year later this week.
