The Express-Times reports that the NASD is pursuing a policy to comply with Federal Guidelines to identify and enroll homeless individuals who are school aged.
The second reading was held at the recent School Board Meeting, a third will be required prior to approval. The policy is designed to remove barriers to enrollment and provide equal education.
