Fire officials were called this morning to a home at 225 Hickory St. in Nazareth for a report of a furnace fire.
Flames were visible shortly before 9 o'clock, and the home had to be evacuated, according to emergency scanner reports. The fire was extinguished shortly after crews arrived.
The house, near North Pine Street and Pond Road, is owned by Cheryl and Randy Erdie, according to Northampton County property records.
