Keith Groller
After three days of Christmas festivities here on Groller's Corner. I look out today and it's sunny and relatively warm -- 50s maybe. After last weekend's snow, it feels like the start of spring, not still the first week of winter. Having the Phillies and IronPigs on the front page of the sports section also makes it feel like April.
I admit that once Christmas and New Year's are over, I could do without winter, especially that four-letter word we all have to shovel around from time to time.
But it's still the NFL season, and amazingly, two weeks of the regular season are still left. I guess it helps shortens the winter, but I remember when the Super Bowl wsa played on Jan. 12, Jan. 13 or Jan. 14. This year, the playoffs are just starting the weekend of Jan. 9-10.
Looks like I am not going to get back to ,500 this season against the spread with my NFL picks, but we'll keep trying -- if only to see how bad it can get. I am currently 102-119-2 against the spread, 140-83 outright and only Rico can tell you how bad I am on the over/under.

"That's not true," a source with knowledge of the Glazer family's intentions told the Tampa Tribune. "That's just people speculating."
According to a story by An NFL Draft.com reporter Jason La Canfora, Bucs officials reached out to Cowher to gauge his interest in possibly coaching the team in 2010. The story cited "a source with knowledge of the situation."
