The Morning Call reports that 13 years after a smash and grab robbery at the then Freeman Jewelers in Lower Nazareth Twp, the man who slammed a sledgehammer through a glass case and took over $37,000 in jewelry was arrested.
Blood found in the case had been periodically checked against a national DNA database, and later criminal acts resulted in the man’s DNA being added.
