Steve “Mr. Movie” Friedman’s wife, Michell and daughter, Darragh are planning a public memorial service for Friedman, who died Sunday morning of kidney failure at the age of 62.
Friedman passed away a few hours after his Saturday night show on WPHT.
His co-hosts of Remember When, Steve Ross and Jim Murray both gave eulogies at Friedman’s funeral, which took place at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Malvern.
Expect this Saturday’s Remember When, which airs from 10 p.m. - midnight on WPHT to be about Friedman, who hosted radio shows in Philly for over 25 years.
