Cubs-Astros Baseball Series Have Been Postponed Due to Hurricane Ike

HOUSTON --

The Houston Astros announced today that the club has postponed the games scheduled for Friday (Sept. 12) and Saturday (Sept. 13) against the Chicago Cubs because of the potential impact of Hurricane Ike on the Houston area. The announcement was made by Astros President of Business Operations Pam Gardner.

There are various scenarios under consideration with regards to the rescheduling of the postponed games.

Fans that have tickets to the Friday and/or Saturday night games should retain those tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled game dates once those dates are determined.
