Jon Baltz and Antonio LaValva had two hits each and Ben Schneiderman pitched a complete game as Palmer Township stayed alive in the Northampton County Legion baseball playoffs with an 11-3 victory over Easton today at Fairview Park.
No. 1-seeded Palmer (23-4) moves on to play No. 4 Big Pocono (16-9-1) in Saturday's playoff game at Fairview Park. The winner will play second-seeded Freemansburg (22-4) for the championship.
Freemansburg beat Big Pocono 3-0 in today's other playoff game.
Baltz led Palmer with two runs and two RBIs. Brendan Lopes went 3-for-3 for Easton, which ends its season with a 17-9 record.
