Sophomore forward Kalista Walters had her inside and outside game working today in scoring 26 points to lead Bethlehem Catholic High School past Prep Charter 67-46 in a PIAA Class AAA quarterfinal at Spring-Ford High School.
"Kalista got us off to a great start and everybody followed," Bethlehem Catholic coach Bill Lanscek said. "And I thought our three freshmen played well again (Danielle Griffin, Nia Mims and Jordyn Jones)."
Senior forward Bridget Smith added 13 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists for the Golden Hawks (27-2), who face Villa Maria-Malvern (24-5) in the semifinals on Tuesday at a time and site to be determined.
