Radio/TV notes: Bob Holder no longer on After Further Review

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER Craig Stevens, the director of operations for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment-Allentown, confirmed yesterday that Bob Holder is no longer with Clear Channel. That means he's also no longer the host of After Further Review, the drive-time, sports-talk show on AM-1470, the Fox here in the Lehigh Valley and on AM-1160, the Ticket, in the Harrisburg area. Holder, a 1980 Whitehall High graduate, had been with Clear Channel for many years. He first became a radio personality on the Service Electric-sponsored sports show on Saturday mornings in the late 1990s. This is the second major change for After Further Review in the past year. Eric Chase left in January to become a program director and afternoon sports talk host at Clear Channel's Detroit affiliate. "Eagle'" Jeff Warner, who replaced Chase as a co-host in January, will continue with After Further Review, which can be heard weeknights from 5-7 Clear Channel also runs AM-790 WAEB, B104 and WZZO FM 95. The Morning Call's "Calling All Sports" radio show can be heard on AM-1470 Saturday mornings from 9-11. Tonight, I will be a guest on After Further Review with Warner and Tyler Trumbauer. 610-432-5767 is the number to call to participate. ************* Parkland's football team will be the guests on Thursday night's live "Sports Talk" show on RCN-4. Chris Michael is the host. Viewers can call into the show at 610-443-2766. ************ RCN-4 will be doing the Northampton-Freedom game live on Friday night with same-night coverage of Whitehall-Emmaus. RCN-4 then has the Holy Cross-Lafayette game on Saturday afternoon. Service Electric TV2 will have the Liberty-Easton game live and Whitehall-Emmaus on tape delay. SECTV will have the Bucknell-Lehigh game live on Saturday afternoon and Northwestern-Pen Argyl on tape delay.
