FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES
When Christine Petchonka lost her job, her boyfriend devised a scheme to make money by stealing from unlocked cars at night across the Lehigh Valley, Petchonka's 16-year-old son testified today.
The plan came to involve Petchonka's son and a 15-year-old boy who was a friend of the family, the two boys said from the witness stand in District Judge John Capobianco's Nazareth courtroom. Police have not placed an exact number on how many car break-ins the group was involved in, but the boys said the total could be in the dozens.
