No. 10 ranked Lehigh has five turnovers, trails Georgetown 14-7 at halftime

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER The absence of Ryan Spadola is one thing, but turnovers are quite another for Lehigh this afternoon at Georgetown. Five turnovers, including four interceptions thrown by quarterback Mike Colvin, have stymied the offense and given the Hoyas a 14-7 halftime lead. Colvin is just 8-for-21 for 117 yards at intermission. Lee Kurfis has tried to make up for the absence of Spadola (out with mono) with five catches for 96 yards. Josh Parris, a sophomore from Palisades who has replaced Spadola in the lineup, has one catch for 11 yards. Zach Barket leads the Lehigh ground attack with 45 yards on 12 carries and has the lone Mountain Hawks TD. Lehigh's defense is doing its best to keep the 6-0 Mountain Hawks in the game, allowing just 166 yards of offense. The defense also set up LU's lone score with a fumble recovery. Northampton grad Billy Boyko got a sack, forced the fumble and Anthony Verderame recovered at the G-town 31. Lehigh scored eight plays later to tie the game at 7 with 6:17 left in the first half. But Georgetown went back in front on Jeremy Moore's 80-yard interception return with 3;52 left in the second quarter. Lehigh had two interceptions after that, but the Hoyas missed two field goal attempts. Here's the scoring summary: FIRST QUARTER G--Nick Campanella 2 run (Matt MacZura kick) 9:51 (Drive: 4 plays, 31 yards, 1:28) SECOND QUARTER L-Zach Barket 1 run (Jake Peery kick) 6:17 (Drive; 8 plays, 31 yards, 3:30) G-Jeremy Moore 80 interception return (MacZura kick) 3:52
