Pressure ulcers, most commonly known as bed sores, are red wounds that appear on the skin that could develop within 48 hours. Patients who are bed resting require repositioning about every two hours to avoid them. VHA recently visited Pocono Medical Center to collect and record clinical, process and design facts about pressure ulcers. They have compiled the list of comprehensive organizational best practices that support Pocono Medical Center's newly blueprinted process which will be shared with other health care facilities. Dietrick Group leases space in Bethlehem, Whitehall Twp. Kelly L. Berfield, of Dietrick Group, represented the landlord in the signing of a three-year lease for 1,350 square feet of retail space at 7 E. Third St., Bethlehem, formerly Timezones Global Goodies and Framing Gallery. The new tenant will use the space to open Steel City Gold and Coin. Tina Jago, of Coldwell Banker Heritage Real Estate, and Lucy H. Lennon, of John R. Judd Real Estate, were also involved in the leasing of the location.
